This was a trip from Campbell River to Toba Inlet to view the Grizzlies. The tour was with Aboriginal Journeys (highly recommended) http://www.aboriginaljourneys.com.
Toba Inlet is one of the principal inlets of the British Columbia Coast and measures 35 km long and about 2.5 km wide. At the head of the inlet is a village of the Tla'amin First Nation First Nation. Their ancestral tongue is Ay-Ay-Ju-Thum (ʔayʔaǰuθəm) which is shared with the Klahoose and Homalco peoples. Historically, these three tribes were all one people with no borders or separation.
