The Changarawe School is located in Karatu District, Arusha Province, Tanzania. Karatu District is one of the seven districts in the Arusha Region of Tanzania. It is bordered by the Ngorongoro District to the north, the Shinyanga Region to the west, the Monduli District to the east, and the Manyara Region to the south and southeast. Karatu serves as gateway to the Ngorongoro Highlands and is located between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater.
The school had no library until recently, however due to the vision and hard work of Abdul Saidi (Good Earth Tours), and fundraising from Mike Byrne of Clock Tower Images the library has been completed.

Mike Byrne and many of his friends have contributed to both the school and library.
Several individuals from our recent tour group have sponsored primary students ($100 USD/yr) or secondary students ($150 USD/yr).
Many have also donated supplies or computers to the school.
